Rylan Clark does like a bit of drama (alright, he like a lot of drama) however we don?t think he?s exaggerating when he says that he thought he would ?die? after he injected himself with the banned tanning drug Melanotan II.
The reality star says that after administering the substance, which is illegal to sell but not to buy, experienced breathing difficulties.
?I couldn?t breathe properly and thought I was going to die. It was scary?
Clark ? who?s friends with Katie Price (quelle surprise) ? said that after giving himself the drug on a daily basis he also got white spots on his stomach and eventually decided to stop using it.

Rylan admits he?s a complete ?tanorexic? but offers this explanation as to why he constantly strives to have bronzed skin:
?Growing up I got a lot of stick for being gay, fat, pasty and ginger. I thought to myself, ?Well I can?t change the gay thing but everything else I can sort out?.?
He now prefers to use a sun bed to help him achieve that and last night, following the X Factor, he was only too happy to show of his leather-like skin as he arrived back home along with the other hopefuls from the show.
