A dozen or so people, some of whom were also high profile, got arrested during the protest which took place outside the Sudanese embassy in Washington DC. George?s spokesperson had this to say:
?They were protesting the violence committed by the government of Sudan on its own innocent men, women and children. They were demanding they allow humanitarian aid into the country before it becomes the largest humanitarian crisis in the world.?
The actor is apparently pretty happy about the arrest, surprisingly, as he hopes it?ll draw attention to the humanitarian crisis.
