Well, TOWIE really has gone from strength to strength hasn?t it? While most of us couldn?t quite believe the show won a BAFTA last year, the stars have kept up their hard work to produce another winning series.
This afternoon they added another award to the list, winning Satellite/Digital Programme sponsored by Humax. They beat an Idiot Abroad and Ross Kemp: Extreme World to the title.
A number of the TOWIE cast mates attended the awards, including�Sam Faiers, who was showing off her Dubai tan in skimpy shorts, Joey Essex who was looking reem, Gemma Collins, who looked well a little dull and Lauren Pope, who wore a suitably skin-tight dress.
While they are busy attending award shows and such like, the makers of the show are reportedly ?actively in discussions? to make one, or even two, US versions of the programme.
Hang on we thought it was copying the likes of The Hills and Jersey Shores, you know the other ?structured reality? shows that were around before?
The show?s creator Tony Wood says it could be recreated in Texas or Florida or even both states. He said: "There are a number of territories that are interested in doing their own versions,"
Woa ok then, if the people want it, the people want it, we?d just like to point out that we think they have seen a very similar formula before. Just saying.�
