Just when you thought Alex Reid couldn?t get any more ridiculous, the cage fighter/singer has once again decided to sell his story and include some pretty irrelevant details.
While Chantelle appears to be trying her hardest to continue life as normal, here she is signing for a parcel earlier today, Alex has decided to cash in on the situation.
So here it is, the Reidanators description of the night he was arrested, brace yourselves: ?We'd been rowing. But I hadn't noticed anything worse than usual. I didn't expect any of this. I'm flabbergasted."
Alex had been staying with his dad.
"I rang the doorbell for five minutes. Nothing. I called her. She didn't answer. So I sent her a text message saying 'I will knock the door down.'
"Eventually she picked the phone up and shouted at me and told me to go back home to my parents.
?Chantelle put the phone down and, out of sheer frustration, I booted the door. It just came off. Remember, this is my house that I pay for as well.
?She came down the stairs swearing at me and going crazy. But once I was inside I was completely calm. I didn't swear once and I actually told her to calm down,? he told Now magazine.
Alex continued: ?I was starving so went to make myself a ham and cheese sandwich and a cup of tea. All of a sudden there were two policemen standing there. Then six more turned up and told me they were going to have to arrest me. I was in my pyjamas!
?It was horrible, they took all my clothes off me and handed me some overalls. They questioned me all night and then put me in the cell for four hours by myself before releasing me.
?I'm willing to work at something and will never say die. I've offered to go to counselling with her, but she's not interested.
?We both need help. Professional help.?
Wow. Wait there?s more. Cut to the following evening: ?We slept in the same bed. She wanted to hug me, but I wouldn't let her. The next night I melted a little bit and let her.
"I got a call from my mum telling me Chantelle had ended things on Twitter . Why would you publicly break up with someone on Twitter? I was the last one to know."
We feel really sorry for Alex?s mum at this point.
Unsurprisingly Chan?s spokesperson has had something to say on the matter: ?Chantelle's deeply saddened that, just a week after their split, Alex is more interested in selling his story and publicly fabricating lies than taking responsibility for his own actions and his daughter.?
