Much like an awards show presenter, Peaches Geldof shimmied in and out of three different dresses when she married her other half Thomas Cohen over the weekend.
She?s posed in one of them on the cover of this week?s Hello! magazine; it?s a lace number paired with a beautiful crown of daises. All her frocks were custom made by designer Alberta Ferretti and, much like the design in the picture above, all had a whimsical feel to them like the wedding itself, which Peaches described as: ?a country wedding meets Shakespeare?s A Midsummer Night?s Dream'.
The two said their vows in a mansion in Kent surrounded by pigs and dogs ? and that was just the brides side of the family, arf arf. No, actually dogs came into the equation when the couple?s puppy served as a ring bearer and as for the pigs, well a swine themed cake was made for the occasion with an array of pig-characters carved into it to depicting the various stages of their romance.
?I am obsessed with pigs - I just think they?re adorable so they had to play a part in the wedding? explained Peaches.
Each to their own and all that. The location of the event also had bittersweet significance for Peaches as the church where they said their vows was where Peaches? mother was laid to rest in 2000 and it was also where her parents had their union blessed following a ceremony in Las Vegas back in 1986.
