Game: Texans at RaidersScore: Texans 31, Raiders 24.
The storyline: The Texans, playing without Pro Bowl wide receiver Andre Johnson - and with running back Arian Foster out much of the first half for disciplinary reasons - took over sole possession of first place in the AFC South by doing what veteran, contending teams do: winning a game they were supposed to win.
Key moment: For the Texans, it perhaps came when Foster entered the game. He didn't start because he missed a team meeting and was late for another this week, but he responded with a solid game and finished with remarkable statistics. After not playing until 6:50 remained in the second quarter, he rushed for 131 yards on 16 carries. He also had a 74-yard touchdown on the first series of the third quarter to snap a 14-14 halftime tie. Foster, who entered the game as the NFL's leader in yards from scrimmage, also caught three passes for 56 yards and a 10-yard touchdown.
